The United Nations Multidisciplinary Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA)
Concerned about the security, humanitarian, political and human rights crisis in the Central African Republic and its regional implications, the UN Security Council on 10 April 2014 authorized the deployment of a multidisciplinary United Nations peacekeeping operation, MINUSCA, whose primary task was the protection of civilians. At the first stage, other tasks of this mission included supporting the implementation of the transition process; facilitating the provision of humanitarian assistance; the promotion and protection of human rights; support for justice and the rule of law; and disarmament, demobilization, reintegration and repatriation processes.
Starting from 2022 to the present, the Republic of Kazakhstan annually sends 2 of its officers to participate in this mission as staff officers.
