The purpose of this exchange was to study the procedures of the battalion headquarters, the decision-making process, the development of Rules of engagement and assist in the preparation of the necessary documentation for the international exercise in the United States, which will be held with the participation of the peacekeeping unit "KAZPOLK" in the period from 3 to 24 August 2018.
The US experts presented the plan of preparation and conducting of the special tactical peacekeeping exercise "Steppe Eagle-2018", which is planned to be held on the range of South Carolina, USA.
In addition, military experts from the UK will conduct classes on medical and engineering training, gender and cultural policy in peacekeeping operations.
The participation of our peacekeepers in this international event will serve as a guarantee of successful implementation of tasks within the framework of operational interoperability and preparation for the international exercises "Steppe Eagle - 2018" in the United States.
