THE JAPANESE MILITARY ATTACHÉ VISITED THE PEACEKEEPING TRAINING CENTRE

In Almaty, the Сommander of the Peacekeeping Training Centre of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan met with Colonel Tadashi Sawai, the Japanese Military Attaché.
The Head of the Centre, Colonel Bauyrzhan Nigmetullin, introduced the guest to the facilities, educational initiatives, and peacekeeping and language training projects. Additionally, he complimented the Military Attaché for his assistance in arranging the participation of an officer from the Japanese Peacekeeping Center at the "UN Protection of Civilians" course. 
The sides discussed possible areas of cooperation between the peacekeeping training centers of Kazakhstan and Japan and expressed readiness to strengthen cooperation in this area.
