The commandant Peace Operations Centre of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Colonel Bauyrzhan Nigmetullin, met with 3rd-year students studying at the Department of Regional Studies and International Relations, gave them a lecture on the peacekeeping activities of the United Nations and the role of Kazakhstan in peacekeeping.
The lectures were about the principles of training peacekeepers in the Peace Operations Centre, and about the UN missions in which our peacekeepers deployed.
This cooperation is carried out within the framework of the Memorandum of understanding between the Peace Operations Centre and the University "Turan", signed in September this year.
