The Peace Operations Centre of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan (KAZCENT) has been visited by a delegation of the United Nations Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA), led by the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Central Asia, Kaha Imnadze.
During the visit, the parties have discussed the prospects of possible bilateral cooperation in peacekeeping training, the involvement experts of both sides in their courses, as well as cooperation within the context of UN gender aspects, preventive diplomacy, and patriotic education for youth.
The head of the delegation, Mr. Kaha Imnadze, has praised the activities and achievements of the Peace Operations Centre in peacemaking and maintenance of peace and security.
