In a period from 3rd to 7th December 2018, Kazakh partnership for peace Training Centre’s (KAZCENT) instructors conducted an INTRO2UNPK course jointly with representatives from ICRC and CIPS-Pakistan (Centre for International Peace and Stability).
The aim of this course was to familiarize the servicemen and employees of national and international governmental agencies from Kazakhstan, Great Britain, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan with UN values and basic principles applied in peace and stability operations.
It should be noted that, this course is not only a necessary element in the system of peacekeeping training of military personnel of the armed forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, but also it is a general system of overall training of the military personnel.
Thus, the course “Introduction to United Nations Peacekeeping” allowed further qualitative training of military personnel and employees of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the Republic of Tajikistan and the Kyrgyz Republic, which served as a guarantor of the national obligations of the state when preparing to the deployment for various UN peacekeeping missions.
