TEACHING STAFF TAKES A SPECIAL LANGUAGE COURSE

The Center for Peacekeeping Training of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan conducts a specialized course on the study of methods of teaching English. This course, conducted by instructors of the Defense Language Institute of the US Defense Ministry, aims to improve the methodological expertise of the teaching staff at Kazakhstani military educational institutions by solidifying their theoretical knowledge.
The course will teach instructors of the Center, Military Institute of the Army (Ground Forces), and Military Engineering Institute of Radio Electronics and Communications how to teach effectively today. They will also become familiar with different methods for creating speaking and writing assignments and learn how to interact with students.
In his remarks at the opening ceremony, Colonel Bauyrzhan Nigmetullin, the Head of the Peacekeeping Training Centre, thanked the American side for its support in advancing language instruction in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan and assistance in raising the standards of the teaching staff. He pointed out that contemporary approaches to pedagogy allow for the diversification of the educational process, increase its informativeness and interest, and motivate students actively engage in it.
