JFCBS Expert Team Visits KAZCENT to deliver CIMIC

In accordance with the Implementation Plan of the Individual Partnership Action Plan and Cooperation Programme between Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan and NATO, the “Civil-military cooperation” course was held at KAZCENT from 11th to 13th of December 2018.
The course was conducted by a mobile-training team of experts from the JFC HQ Brunssum. The aim of the course was to familiarize participants with the main methods and procedures applied by NATO in preparation and conduct of civil-military cooperation operations. The course involved military personnel of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, who will later be deployed to various peacekeeping missions.
The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan noted a great importance to aspects of military-civilian cooperation and coordination. In this regard, KAZCENT was tasked to build our own relevant national expertise.
