Kazakhstan and the United States jointly train specialists of logistics for the peacekeeping operations.

A virtual command and staff exercise was held to train officers of Armed Forces of Kazakhstan in the field of logistics at Peacekeeping training Center of the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan in Almaty. The topic of the exercise is: "Logistical support for the peacekeeping operation to ensure stability in Western Africa."
The aim of the exercise was to improve the knowledge and skills of specialists in issues of comprehensive support of the Armed Forces, to study the procedure for organizing the independent transfer of a military contingent to the area of a peacekeeping mission and its logistical support.
– We are glad that, despite the sanitary and epidemiological situation in the world, our partners from the United States participated in the exercises and made a significant contribution to the peacekeeping training of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan to participate in UN missions. This is a good platform for the training of our militaries–," said the Head of the Rear and Armament of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan, Major General Almas Akhmadiev.
The exercise was organized in accordance with the Management Training Plan for 2021 and within the framework of the Five-Year Plan of Military Cooperation between the defense departments of the two countries for 2018-2022.
