As part of the participation of servicemen of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan in the United Nations peacekeeping mission in the Central African Republic (CAR), the first rotation of officers was carried out.
Last summer, two soldiers were sent to the Central African Republic (CAR).
For 12 months, they served as staff officers as part of a multidisciplinary integrated UN mission to stabilize the situation in the CAR.
In order to implement the UN peacekeeping mandate, Kazakh peacekeepers performed tasks of collecting, processing and analyzing information about the internal situation in the country, contributing to the maintenance of peace and security.
Recall that the training of the peacekeeping contingent is carried out on a planned basis at the peace operations Centre of the Ministry of Defense.
