Both uniformed and civilian employees representing national, regional, and international governmental and none-governmental organizations (structures) that are scheduled for, can be potentially deployed to, or somehow involved in contributing to a UN peace and security operation.
To be eligible to attend the courses conducted in English, nominees must meet the following criteria:
at least the following proficiency standards in English as described in STANAG 6001: Listening (2), Speaking (2), Reading (2), and Writing (2);
ability for independent work or for work as a team member;
basic computer skills;
Participation in KAZCENT’s Introduction to United Nations Peacekeeping Course (UNTRO2UNPK) is a prerequisite to participate in the 10 session day iteration of UNSOC.
